Why Barclays should be boycotted
After this weekend’s revelation that Barclays bank is bankrolling President Robert Mugabe’s very corrupt regime in Zimbabwe, I have decided to boycott their services.
The British bank has reportedly lent £750m to the country’s new landowning elite in the first part of this year.
Barclays is under pressure to state whether it has broke European Union sanctions by bankrolling five of Mugabe’s ministers.
The time has come to change banks and boycott them in the UK. This is totally unacceptable in today’s society.
Get your act together Barclays!
