Met chief from another planet?
Sir Ian Blair has gone and done it again.
It is reported that the Metropolitan police comissioner, whose salary last year was £228,000, wrote an angry letter to his deputy, Paul Stephenson, effectively acussing him of disloyalty after finding out he had waived his own bonus.
Sir Ian sought a £25,000 performance bonus (for what?) whilst the force is embroiled in criminal proceedings over the shooting (about 7 times with exploding bullets) of an innocent Brazilian.
Bring back the good old days, when honorable captain’s went down with the sinking ship.
